HR Virtuoso® Company (“the Company”) has created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to demonstrate a commitment to privacy. The following information discloses information gathering and dissemination practices for the HR Virtuoso® System (the “System”).
We are committed to protecting the security of your Personal information. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Even though we have taken significant steps to protect your Personal Information, no company, including us, can fully eliminate security risks associated with Personal Information.

Information Collection and Use
HR Virtuoso® is not responsible for the privacy practices of its customers. Accordingly, HR Virtuoso® encourages users of the System to read the privacy statements of each and every applicable company. This privacy statement applies solely to the Company’s role in collecting and storing data via the System.
The System collects Personal Information, such as name, work history, and home address. Candidates or employees may enter Personal Information directly through the System and/or indirectly through a subscriber's HR staff or other systems (i.e., data entered manually or fed electronically from another system into the System). Personal Information within the System is stored within the applicable Data Center for a subscriber. Candidate users may have the ability to remain anonymous during the initial states of the application process depending on the subscriber's configuration of the System.

Choice
The System collects information for its subscribers. Unless otherwise removed by the subscriber, users are given open notice of and the choice to provide Personal Information.
If you are a candidate or employee user of one of our subscribers and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our subscribers that use the HR VirtuosoTM System subscription, please contact the applicable subscriber directly.

Correction/Updating Personal Information
The Company has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Information it processes. A candidate or employee user who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data may do so by contacting the subscriber’s HR staff (the data controller) to update the data within their subscription.

Date Retention
The Company will retain Personal Information we process on behalf of our subscribers within the System for as long as needed to provide services to our subscribers. The Company will retain this Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The Company will retain back‐up copies of Personal Information as long as the client maintains an active subscription.

Service Provider, Sub‐Processors/Onward Transfer
The Company may transfer Personal Information to companies that help us provide our service. Information is only transferred upon request to our subscribers. Typical information transfers include integrations with assessment and background investigation vendors that are contracted with directly by our subscribers.

Opt-Out
Candidate and employee users are given the opportunity to ‘opt‐out' of a subscriber’s mailings, texts, and notifications via the Opt‐Out mechanism attached to all HR VirtuosoTM e‐mails and texts generated by the System or by contacting us directly at info@hrvirtuoso.com.

Notification of Changes
Users should contact the subscriber for more information regarding changes to a subscriber’s privacy policy.

AUTOMATED DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGY

Information Collection and Use
The Company may collect information about users automatically as they navigate through the System. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
This information is used by the Company for a number of purposes, including authentication, preferences, and performance analytics.
The technologies HR Virtuoso® uses for this automatic data collection may include, without limitation:
- Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of the user's computer. Users may refuse cookies by activating the appropriate setting on their browser. If this setting is selected, however, users may be unable to access certain parts of the System. The Company will issue cookies when users direct their browser to our System unless the user has adjusted their browser setting so that it will refuse cookies.
- Flash Cookies. Certain features of the Application may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about user preferences and navigation to, from, and on the System. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies. Users may refuse to allow flash cookies by activating the appropriate setting through their Adobe Settings Manager.
- Web Beacons. Pages of our System and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an e-mail and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity). By disabling browser cookies, unique information associated with web beacons will also be disabled.

Choice
Unless otherwise removed by the subscriber, users are given open notice of and the choice to allow for automated data collection. Users can set their browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert them when cookies are being sent. Users can learn how to manage their Flash cookie settings, by visiting the Flash player settings page on Adobe's website. If users disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the System may be inaccessible or not function properly.

Feedback
If you provide feedback to us, we may use and disclose such feedback for any purpose, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information. We will collect any information contained in such feedback and will treat the Personal Information in it in accordance with this Policy. You agree that any such comments and any email we receive becomes our property. We may use feedback for marketing purposes or to add to or modify our services without paying any royalties or other compensation to you.

Our subscribers access the system using protected passwords, which are encrypted and stored on a secure database.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT
The Company may disclose Personal Information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal or security process when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect the safety of our users or others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
